WooCommerce search synonyms: ready to use examples
A synonym list teaches your search that two words mean the same thing. Here are starter lists you can copy, and a way to find the ones your shoppers really use.
How to use these lists
Put one group per line, words separated by commas. Treat every list below as a starting point. Delete the pairs that do not apply to what you sell, and add your own.

Find your own
Lists from the internet give you generic pairs. Your shoppers use your own words, so find them: read the searches that found nothing, read your customer chat and email, and ask your support team what people call things. See zero result searches.
Where to enter them
In Lodestar Search, open the Dropdown tab and use the Synonyms box. The change applies the next time the index rebuilds.

Questions
How many synonyms should I add?
Start with the ten to twenty pairs that cause the most empty searches, then add more as you read your search report.
Do synonyms work both ways?
In a group, every word finds the products for every other word in it.
Can synonyms replace typo correction?
No. Synonyms are for different words with the same meaning. Typo correction fixes misspellings of the same word.
